Gorgeous ring, jeweller assessment as follows; Single stone diamond, diamond set shoulders; Oval facetted emerald, 6.5mmx4.2mm; Four brilliant cut diamonds, each 2.3mmx2.3mm total cal est weight approx 0.23 cts (1/4ct); Yellow mount, stamped 14kt, valued as 14ct; Cast mount, half rub over set, heavy channel set shoulders with double banding detail and flat tapered shank; Sixe N+, gross weight 3.7gms. Valued in 2002 at 495.00, this will be worth considerably more now, due to the price of gold. Unable to wear, due to weight change, and it is too pretty (and valuable) to sit in a box any longer. I have been told that sizing emerald rings can be tricky, due to it being a volatile stone, but it can be done, if emerald is removed first. I am not an expert, so buyer would need to be sure of this before buying.
